Chinese airlines are likely to purchase 6,810 planes worth $1.025 trillion in the next 20 years. China becomes the first trillion dollar aviation market in Boeing's forecast.

Chinese airlines will spend more than $1 trillion on new aircraft over the next two decades and capture the  booming demand for air travel. A marketing executive at Boeing Commercial Airplanes Randy Tinseth said that the country's growing middle class and new visa policies "gives us every reason to expect a very bright future for China's long-haul market”.   

Boeing has played a major role in developing China's aviation industry and infrastructure.  Boeing released its annual China Current Market Outlook today in Beijing. According to Boeing, China becomes world's first trillion dollar aviation market.

According to Boeing Commercial Airplanes marketing executive Randy Tinseth, The passenger traffic in China to grow by 6.4% a year over the next 20 years.

 

More than 50 percent of all the commercial jetliners operating in China are Boeing airplanes. Worldwide, Boeing projects investments of $5.9 trillion for 39,620 new commercial airplanes to be delivered during the next 20 years.
