Opera has launched the free built-in VPN to its desktop browser. The addition of free, built-in VPN tool makes Opera the first internet browser to remove geo-barriers of the internet, without installation of any third-party extensions.
Opera has been adding a lot of new features to its mobile and desktop browsers to differentiate itself from others web browsers. Earlier this year Opera launched a free VPN app and in April it added built-in, free unlimited VPN feature to developer version of its desktop browser. The company also introduced a mobile VPN service for both iOS and Android.
Here is the video demonstration of Opera browser for desktop users and how to enable new features.
Most VPNs require a subscription fee or installing additional software on your PC to access its premium features. Opera has launched the free built-in VPN for users with more updated features and geo locations.
Opera VPN uses a 256-bit AES encrypted connection and does not log your browsing history. VPN Users can choose from 5 server locations: Germany, Canada, Netherlands, United States and Singapore or let the opera browser select the most optimal server.
Opera has also added native ad-blocker feature to its browser. The feature is available on both, desktop and mobile browsers.
