World Hemophilia Day is an observance worldwide on April 17 by the World Federation of Haemophilia. It is organized as an awareness day for hemophilia, which also serves to raise funds and attract volunteers for the WFH. It started in 1989 April 17 in honor of Frank Schnabel's birthday.

Hemophilia is a disorder in people that there blood continuously bleeds for longer period and doesn’t quickly clot. Clotting of blood decreases the flow of blood when injuries occur it is caused by the vitamins present in the blood. The deficiency of vitamins in blood causes Hemophilia.Haemophilia, also spelled hemophilia, Statistics on the incidence of hemophilia estimated that in the United States 1 in every 5,000 -10,000 people are born with it.

                                                                                                                           

 Hemophilia is caused in the body from beginning of birth and this deficiency can be inherited by ancestral and it is not contagious disease as FLU’s that it can be found when transmission of disease takes place in humans. This deficiency disorders may affect in the later life mostly people in 50 above age group.This disorder makes surgeons helpless when any surgery for trauma takes place. It is a misunderstanding that only men have symptoms of haemophilia and that women who possess the haemophilia gene do not experience symptoms themselves. Women live with their symptoms for years without being diagnosed or even suspecting they have a bleeding disorder. 

 

                                                                                                           

Women with Haemophiliac causes risk in giving birth to child, or can experience prolonged or heavy menstrual bleeding. They may also experience a small amount of internal bleeding during ovulation, which can cause abdominal and pelvic pain. In these case woman need iron supplement and when situation is critical in condition to undergo a hysterectomy a surgical operation to remove all or part of the uterus. So it is very important when woman are affected with Haemophiliac in life.
