Google teamed up with the fitness tracking app Runtastic to give Android users workout-inspired playlists that are powered by Play Music. The best part of it is that the Google Play Music ad-free playlists are available for Android users with the Runtastic app for free.

The songs and playlists curated by Google will be available only in the Runtastic Running & Fitness Android application, both Android and iOS users will be offered free trials to Google Play Music as a part of the deal between the two companies.

Runtastic is one of the most popular fitness tracking tools. Google today has teamed up with fitness app Runtastic to offer the app’s users a variety of new workout playlists, including songs for running that are over 130 beats per minute that are powered by its music service.

Default radio streaming will be available for those who aren’t subscribed to Google Play Music All Access, but to promote these new features, Runtastic is giving all of its users a free Music trial.

Google is offering all users of Runtastic, on iOS and Android, free trials of Play Music for custom playlist creation and ad-free streaming. There is not any mention in the announcement of how long the trial is. The ability to stream Google Play Music playlists from Runtastic is now available in more than 60 countries worldwide.
