Google recently provoked the Virtual reality market by introducing an entry level fabric covered VR headset named as Daydream View to give a clear competition to its main rival Samsung VR headset being sold at $99.

Daydream View is equipped with a VR motion controller that is generally found in an expensive VR gear. It is compatible with Google’s recently announced Pixel smartphones and other Daydream certified handsets.

Google plans taking preorders for the gadget by end of the month and ship it in early November. It offers three color options to its buyers i.e. slate gray, crimson and snow. Google has introduced its product at a very right moment when rigorous activities are already on and many developments are going on in VR world. Few companies have already come out with their products in this field and many are on its way.

Google claims that the fabric used in the product is stretchable and breathable and could encourage for long viewing sessions.

Google further claims that Daydream View uses an alignment system of conductive knobs that make contact with the front of the phone screen to determine which pixels are aligned with which knobs, which the software then self-corrects as needed, providing, a better optic experience. The headset and phone sync wirelessly.
