Google today unveiled a new group plan for Project Fi, its wireless service that harnesses the networks of several carriers and Wi-Fi to offer the strongest signal available.
With Project Fi’s group plan, you can now have up to six people on one plan, making it easier to pay your bill, track data usage, and manage settings for everyone, all from one place.

You can invite new members to your plan at any time at $15/month per line for Fi Basics (unlimited talk and text). And just like with individual plans, you only pay for the data you use at the same $10/GB rate. If you end up using less than you planned for, you’ll get the unused data credited back in dollars and cents.
Project Fi is an experimental wireless network started by Google in 2015.It uses a combination of cellular coverage and local Wi-Fi networks. The service accesses more than a million Wi-Fi hotspots to provide inexpensive wireless internet connectivity. When Wi-Fi isn't available, it uses cellular networks.
has a new group plan for its Project Fi wireless service, allowing customers to add more lines to their account. Project Fi's group plans include safeguards to keep your data usage under control, also. You can set different alerts and caps for your group members.
Project Fi only works with Nexus phones and Google's new Pixel. If you don't have, Google will give you $100 off the Nexus 6P and $150 off the Nexus 5X when you buy and activate through Project Fi.
You can add users by visiting your Project Fi account page online.
