A NASCAR racer is set to bring his political views to the track with him.
Speedway Digest reports that Austin Wayne Self will drive a Donald Trump-Mike Pence-themed truck at the next event Oct. 22 at historic Talladega.
Self and his Camping World Truck Series team, AM Racing, announced their joint support for the Republican ticket this week and unveiled the new truck design.
The red, white and blue No. 22 truck also includes Trump's signature phrase - Make America Great Again.
The Texan-born self, 20, said this will be the first presidential election that he can vote in and that politics "has never really been that important" to him until Trump's campaign.
He said he wants to emphasize to people the importance of voting on November 8 and that the country needs change.
Earlier this year, NASCAR chairman and CEO Brian France endorsed Trump at a Georgia rally, joined by current and former drivers like David Ragan, Bill and Chase Elliott and Ryan Newman.
"If the people that like and watch NASCAR vote for Donald Trump, they can cancel the election right now. Nobody else can win," Trump said at the March event.
