Intel Security has launched new products which leverage cloud technologies, designed to protect devices against the latest malware and other cyber threats. The McAfee product line-up includes McAfee Antivirus Plus, McAfee Internet Security, McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe.

A report from McAfee Labs Threats, says that there has been a rampant increase in ransomware by upto 120% since 2015.

McAfee’s Anti-Malware engine combines detection methods with a malware unmasking system that uses behavioral analytics and machine learning to detect and block malware without any human intervention.

Improvements to the software’s Mac and Android protection capabilities delivered a 100 percent detection result in the latest AV-Comparatives independent test and a perfect score of 13 in the latest AV-Test respectively.

Intel claims that this cloud-centric approach is an industry-first and can effectively detect responses to emerging threats, and offering a money back guarantee for any virus that cannot be removed.

These offer protections for household devices, including PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets and is complemented by an anti-malware engine which claims to offer an efficient and effective security solution.
