Instagram users are more around the world than in US it is estimated that 80% users around 600million the organization has decided to provide lighter version of the Instagram currently only for android customers

It announced in Facebook conference that it supports most of the features and currently available in android version and said it is developing an iOS version also while developing this offline mode it accordingly with preferred device type

Instagram engineer Hendri says offline users will be able to see content previously loaded in Instagram’s feed. People can leave comments, Like things, save media, or unfollow people all of which will go through when they reconnect. Profiles they’ve visited before will be visible, as will old versions of the Explore tab or their own profile.
