 A  Bus burns in midtown Manhattan nearer from Grand Central Terminal as the morning rush got down the way. People at the place told the situation as ‘explosion’

 Flames and smoke erupting from one side of the bus, with the windows blown out.

The fire broke out around 6:40 a.m. ET and crews has stopped the fire after an hour.  It happened near the corner of Lexington Ave. and E. 45th St.

No passengers were on the bus at the time and nobody was hurt.

The cause of the fire was unclear. The Metropolitan Transit Authority didn't immediately comment.
