The Boston-based company facing lawsuits regarding violation of user data under the US’s Federal Wiretap Act. The user data is collected from music playlist, podcasts and other audio choices from the company’s connect smartphone app used with premium wireless headset.
The data is collected when the headphones paired to smartphone with an app and the data is automatically synced and stored in it. Smartphone app is meant to adjust the volume and noise reduction controls.

Buyers claiming millions of dollars in using of headphones and speakers, including QuietComfort 35, QuietControl 30, SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones II, SoundLink Color II, SoundSport Wireless and SoundSport Pulse Wireless.
The company has not given intimation to the customers in collecting the data from smartphone app
The claim aims to get millions of dollars in damages from the audio giant for its customers, but the company has not yet responded to the accusation or made an official statement.
