According to reports a new leak reveals that Apple is lagging in placing the Touch ID on upcoming iPhone 8.  A new schematic image of iPhone chassis design confirms that it is going to place the Touch ID at the back on device. A twitter user have allegedly posted the image.

The leaked chassis design mentions dimensions of the device as 149.501 mm tall and 72.497 mm wide. In earlier reports suggested that Touch ID in iPhone 8 will be embedded inside the display.

The illustration suggested that apple is tossing out the glass back and replacing it with an all-aluminum casing. Another leak surfaced last month that shows a render of the schematic although not from the same source.

Apple iPhone 8 won’t have a home button. Other rumored specifications for iPhone 8 are a new front camera with 3D sensing capabilities, facial recognition technology and wireless charging. In terms of design, Apple is said to go with glass and metal fusion that we saw on iPhone 4s.
